Following the firm’s expansion into Palmas, it sought to further strengthen its expertise in Business Law. Leonardo Honorato Costa, then coordinator of the Corporate Law practice, became a partner. At the time, he was already teaching Business Law at universities, had authored a book on the subject, and was a member of national committees dedicated to the field, including the Commercial Law Forum of the Superior Court of Justice.
