José Antonio Domingues

With more than 15 years of experience in legal practice, José Antônio Domingues da Silva has built a solid and strategic career in the legal sector. He holds a Law degree from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), with postgraduate specializations in Private Law from FESURV and in Accounting and Tax Law from IPOG. He began his career while still at university, completing internships at public institutions and renowned law firms, before being invited by Lúcio Flávio de Paiva in 2007 to join GMPR Advogados, where he became a partner the following year.

In 2010, he assumed the position of CEO, leading a significant expansion process that grew the firm from four to 130 employees over a 14-year period. Throughout his career, he has received important distinctions, including the titles of Honorary Citizen of Goiânia (2016) and Honorary Citizen of Goiás (2022), as well as recognition in 2014 for his contributions to the legal profession in Goiás. He also served as Legal Director of the Association of Young Businesspeople and Entrepreneurs of Goiânia. Currently, he serves as Director of New Business at GMPR Advogados, leading the firm’s multidisciplinary legal advisory practice and serving as a State Council Member of the Brazilian Bar Association – Goiás Section (OAB/GO) for the 2025–2027 term.
