Who we are
We are a multidisciplinary law firm with more than 70 attorneys organized into specialized teams covering 19 areas of law. We advise both corporate and individual clients on matters of medium and high complexity, including through ongoing legal counsel.
We also have a dedicated legal operations team that closely and accurately monitors each client’s workflow and information. With nearly two decades of experience, excellence and integrity are the principles that guide the work of our more than 120 professionals.

2006
Our story began in a faculty lounge, where three visionary minds, Carlos Márcio Rissi Macedo, Lúcio Flávio Siqueira de Paiva, and Marcos César Gonçalves de Oliveira, set their ideas into motion.
2007
The firm’s first milestones began to emerge, including José Antônio Domingues da Silva, then an intern and a proactive young student whose drive and dynamism impressed the firm’s founding partners. Just two years later, he became a partner.
2009
Speaking of inspiring minds, following his retirement from the Court of Justice of the State of Goiás, Professor and Appellate Judge Jamil Pereira de Macedo joined the firm as a new partner, becoming an essential part of its technical excellence and credibility.
2010
The desire to serve more clients with an even higher standard of excellence led the partners to seek new partnerships. This marked the beginning of conversations with attorney Breno Rassi Florêncio, a graduate of the renowned Largo de São Francisco Law School at the University of São Paulo.
As the partnership grew, so did the firm’s structure. The firm moved to a spacious and comfortable new headquarters on Rua 99, in Setor Sul, and the partnership adopted the name Gonçalves, Macedo, Paiva e Rassi Advogados S/S.
2011 – 2014
A Strategic Decision
Hire attorneys or develop them? We made the strategic decision to build our own team, shaping each intern according to our philosophy and approach to legal practice. As a result, the firm began conducting highly competitive intern selection processes and, more recently, took part in an innovative and award-winning internship-to-trainee program.
2015 e 2016
With the goal of achieving solid and structured growth, the firm engaged Selem Bertozzi, a consulting firm based in Curitiba, Paraná, to organize and strengthen its administrative and financial management model, as well as establish a career development plan and legal operations structure.
2018
Following the firm’s expansion into Palmas, it sought to further strengthen its expertise in Business Law. Leonardo Honorato Costa, then coordinator of the Corporate Law practice, became a partner. At the time, he was already teaching Business Law at universities, had authored a book on the subject, and was a member of national committees dedicated to the field, including the Commercial Law Forum of the Superior Court of Justice.
2019
Moving Forward!
By this year, the firm had grown to more than 40 professionals, including attorneys, interns, and administrative staff, supported by a solid and modern information technology infrastructure. The firm had established a presence across the main areas of law, serving clients throughout Brazil and abroad.
2020 e 2021
In the same year that we expanded our headquarters, we also launched our podcast, GMPR Cast, as an important audio marketing initiative. We are proud to have grown to a team of approximately 50 professionals, including attorneys, interns, and administrative staff.
2022
In another year of growth and development, GMPR Advogados opened a new branch in the city of Rio Verde, Goiás, focusing on Agribusiness Law. Partners Artur Ricardo Siqueira and Fernando Ribeiro led this expansion.
2023
It was another year of significant growth for our team. Dr. Artur Siqueira, Dr. Fernando Ribeiro, and Dr. Beline Barros became GMPR’s newest equity partners. In addition, we began construction on our next expansion, further expanding our office in Goiânia.
2024
A New Milestone to Celebrate:
We reached a new milestone: GMPR Advogados grew to a team of 100 professionals!
